After each use, remove the inner seal, rinse it under warm water, and dry it with a soft cloth. Polish the steel figure with a lint-free cloth; do not wash in a dishwasher. When the bottle is open, rest the figure on its glass stand, away from direct sunlight.

He Who Holds the Sky
Atlas stands at the edge of the world. Hesiod places him just past the Hesperides, bearing the wide heaven on his head and untiring hands, less a punishment than a charge; a task without end but without diminishment. Whoever sits at the head of a table for a long evening recognises, briefly, that quiet weight: holding something in place, gently enough that no one else notices it is being held.
In our atelier the figure is made by investment casting, the direct descendant of the lost-wax method ancient bronze-workers used. A wax model is shaped by hand, set in a refractory mould, then stainless steel runs through it at high heat. The surface is finished by hand. The tension across the shoulders, the curve of the back, the slight tilt of the head: all of it is kept visible.
A food-grade inner seal holds wine without air. When the bottle is closed, the figure rests on its custom glass stand. Three finishes. Not an object that closes a bottle, but a small piece that knows its place on the table.
