It works both as a bottle stopper and, thanks to its included glass stand, as a display object when not in use.
After each use, remove the inner seal, rinse it under warm water, and dry it with a soft cloth. Polish the steel figure with a lint-free cloth; do not wash in a dishwasher. When the bottle is open, rest the figure on its glass stand, away from direct sunlight.

The Skin of the Nemean Lion
Heracles’s first labour was to kill a lion terrorising Nemea, a beast no weapon could pierce. Arrows bounced off its hide, a sword shattered against it; in the end Heracles strangled it with his bare hands. He made its skin his own armour — now nothing could pierce him either. From then on, the lion’s pelt was the one sign that told anyone who he was.
This stopper’s Hercules figure carries that moment of transformation. It is produced in our atelier by investment casting: a hand-shaped wax model, a refractory mould, then stainless steel poured at high heat. The tension in the shoulders and the texture of the pelt stay distinct on the hand-finished surface.
The food-safe inner stopper keeps wine from air; when not in use, the figure rests on its own glass stand. It comes in three colour options. Like the strength that completed the first of twelve labours, this small sculpture stands quietly on your table — its presence felt all the same.
